The DataSourcesRasterUI library provides user interfaces such as the creating raster dataset dialog to support objects contained in the DataSourcesRaster library. In addition, SidEncoder object is available for developers to use.
The objects that implement this functionality are grouped into a number of library subsystems. These library subsystems are:

SidEncoder

The SidEncoder object compresses one or more raster datasets into one MrSID format. MrSID® (Multiresolution Seamless Image Database) is LizardTech's proprietary raster format which uses wavelet compression and can provide compression ratios greater than 50 to 1. This compression algorithm provides lossy compression and can encode files of up to 50MB uncompressed. The SidEncoder does not write to the MrSID MG3 format.

RasterSdeLoader

 RasterSdeLoader is an 8.3 object used to load an SDE raster dataset with an old raster dataset schema. To work with rasters in a geodatabase, refer to objects in DataSourcesRaster library.
