public class AddFeatureClassToTerrain

extends AbstractGPTool

Adds one or more feature classes to a terrain dataset. The feature classes must reside in the same feature dataset as the terrain. The Add Feature Class to Terrain tool is contained in the 3D Analyst Tools tool box.

Software restrictions: none

Usage tips:

• The feature classes must reside in the same feature dataset as the terrain.
• The terrain may need to be rebuilt using BuildTerrain; after using this tool. This depends on how the feature class is used to define the terrain. The terrain dataset's Properties dialog in ArcCatalog and the terrain layer's Properties dialog both provide an indication as to whether the dataset needs to be rebuilt.
• When used in an SDE database, the input terrain cannot be registered as versioned.
• The input feature class cannot be registered as versioned.
