The MaplexUI library mainly provides user interfaces, including property pages along with commands and tools, to support objects contained in the Maplex library. Additionally, the MaplexUI library contains the MaplexExtension object which is used by the applications to establish licensing for the product. You utilize this object to initialize the Maplex extension for use.
