Description:

Direction and distance information is commonly found in non-digital sources such as survey plats, and title deeds. Productive tools are required for quickly entering this coordinate geometry information directly from the keyboard. This sample offers an alternative way to add an edit sketch by typing these values into a spreadsheet.

How to use:
  1. If the entire Coordinate Geometry sample has been installed using the _INSTALL.BAT the next step is not required.
  2. Browse and select the TravSample.dll using the 'Add From File' button on the Customize dialog.
  3. From the 'Developer Samples' commands category, add the 'Traverse' to the Editor toolbar.
  4. Start an edit session with at least one line or polygon layer loaded.
  5. Refer to the linked Word document for a complete description of how to use this tool.
  6. The project uses a reference to the VBScript 5.0 DLL. The traverse sample will not work without this dll. If this is shown as MISSING in the project references, you can download it from : www.microsoft.com/msdownload/vbscript/scripting.asp

Requires:
An edit session with a current task that uses a line or polygon geometry.
			The tool becomes active when at least one point has been added to the edit sketch.
