Pan Tool

Last Modified:5/1/2002

This sample implements the ICommand and ITool interfaces and is intended to be used in ArcMap. Its functionality is the same as that of ArcMap's Pan tool.

The Visual Basic .NET and C# flavors of this sample illustrate localizing resources for another language environment. For more information, refer to the "Working with Resources" section in "Getting Started with ArcObjects and .NET."

How to use:
  1. Open the sample, and compile it to make this sample's dll.
  2. In ArcMap, bring up the Customize dialog.
  3. For the Visual Basic 6 sample, click on 'Add from file' and select the dll you just made.
  4. Under the Commands tab, select the Pan command from the Developer Samples category, and drag it on to a toolbar. Dismiss the Customize dialog.
  5. Click on the tool, and start using it.
