BmpPictureElement objects are picture elements placed on a page layout. You can can also place picture elements within a data frame, but it is more common to place them within a layout. BmpPictureElements are pictures in the bitmap (*.bmp) format. Bitmaps and Emf files (EmfPictureElement) are the two formats supported as picture elements.
